Launching a B2B lending marketplace at POS.

Our German client was looking to create a new proposition for an embedded finance marketplace for B2B point of sale lending. The focus was to identify the addressable market for Germany and UK and identify the distribution channels, product parameters and customer journeys.

We kicked off our project with the Scan Phase by conducting a comprehensive market analysis of both countries, identifying the TAM/SAM/SOM including potential revenue opportunities available through the proposed distribution channels.

 

Based on the insights gathered, we developed a detailed product roadmap outlining all necessary components and parameters to enable multiple lenders to participate in the marketplace and bid on loan applications. Additionally, we proposed a detailed the technology roadmap and identified key third party tech providers essential to support this proposition.

 

Moreover, we designed the customer journey, pinpointed optimal distribution channels, determined platform access pricing, and crafted a robust marketing and sales strategy.
